It has been confirmed that the third book in the Ronaldo series, Rudi’s Birthday Extravaganza, will be available from Amazon websites this summer. Reports confirm that Ronaldo and Rudi are very excited about the next instalment but are keeping tight-lipped about the storyline ... Rudi is apparently finding this very difficult. “He can’t keep a secret to save his life,” laughed Ronaldo.

DOCTOR KLOPPEN TO JOIN RONALDO SEQUEL
Scary, dribbling Doctor Kloppen will join the cast of Rudi’s Birthday Extravaganza. The medical professional who has run the Beresford village surgery for over thirty years will have an incident with Rudi. “It’s a very funny chapter and I think children will love it,” said Kloppen.

It appears the goose down red jackets have been replaced by shorts and t-shirts. Ronaldo and Rudi were recently spotted at Lake St Nicholas. Ronaldo looked very trendy in striped board shorts and sunglasses. Rudi’s floral outfit was not quite so fashionable but very appropriate for his quirky character.
Does this mean there are no flying scenes in the upcoming sequel? “Don’t worry, there’s plenty of flying and the red jackets do come out,” explained Ronaldo. “The story is set in the summer and we all have fur coats!” he giggled.

THE VILLAINS ARE BACK
Troublesome brothers, Dasher, Comet and Prancer make for interesting story lines. The good news is all three will feature in the third Ronaldo book. When asked to comment on his role, Dasher replied "Grrrrrrrrr."
Wing Commander Blitsen, head of The Reindeer Flying Academy, will also return, and was a little more polite with her comments "I'm so excited to be included in the new Rivaldo book!"
Rumours have circulated that popular wolf cub, Ernie, has been axed from the next Ronaldo adventure. Ernie was one of the main characters in The Phantom Carrot Snatcher and won the hearts of many children with her feisty antics. “It’s true Ernie won’t appear in Rudi’s Birthday Extravaganza, explained author, Maxine Sylvester. “But the door is always open and I’m sure she will feature in future Ronaldo stories. For now, she is in charge of the ‘Ernie’s Fun Facts’ section of the website, a role she very much enjoys.”
THE NATIONS SWEETHEARTTO MAKE CAMEO APPEARANCE
Popular television talk show host, Donna Winkihoff, has confirmed she will make a cameo appearance in the new Ronaldo book. “I’m a big Ronaldo fan and delighted to be part of the story,” said Winkihoff, from her luxury Candy Cane City apartment. It’s believed the presenter with the dazzling smile will interview flying superstar, Vixen Pederson, in the upcoming, Rudi’s Birthday Extravaganza. “I can't tell you more as I’m sworn to secrecy,” grinned Donna. “You’ll have to wait for the book to come out.” The Donna Show continues to top the ratings and airs weekdays.

Wing Commander Vixen Pederson, captain of the North Pole Reindeer Team, will return for the next Ronaldo episode.
“I am thrilled to be included, I have a bigger role than the first book, The Reindeer Flying Academy. It’s been so much fun meeting up with the other characters again, particularly, Ronny and Rudi.”
When asked to comment on what happens to Vixen in the new book, the moose sized flying hero laughed. “Let’s just say I get to wear a very unflattering outfit!”
